It is that time of year again!
Gardens are bursting forth with early blooming flowers, revived herbs and perennials.
Whether you garden in containers or garden allotments, these days of rain and intermittent sun have fostered tremendous growth of plants.
In our region, water barrels are brimming full with all the rain we have received. This storage capacity will be helpful in the hotter days of July and August.
In the meantime, it is great to see gardens thriving. Enjoy!

Often clip a few for a narrow vase on the kitchen table–one of the perks of summer!
I never thought of putting them in a slim vase. Nice!!
Actually, my vase is a recycled blue water bottle– works for lavender stems too!
Hi Patricia, nice little article – there’s been a lot of sun lately and we’re just enjoying the rain to wake up the garden a bit! We have a herb garden in the utility, although it’s taking a bit of jiggery-pokery to get all the herbs to stay healthy together!
Gardens are starting to flourish here–great for all!
