NATIONAL POETRY MONTH–POETRY IN THE MOVIES

National Poetry Month April 2010 has been a wonder of words thus far. Poetry is everywhere!
Some of my favourite movie moments are sheer poetry, literally!
I have two recommends:
1) Il Postino–a heart-stopping take on metaphors as related to Pablo Neruda;
2) The Outsiders –a moving rendition of Robert Frost’s Nothing Gold Can Stay.
These film moments are well worth a second look! Enjoy!

By the way, do you have a memorable movie moment of poetry? Share film title in a comment.
