Victoria Day weekend is fast approaching. In this part of the world, the May 24 weekend signals the start of a new gardening season. Risk of frost is minimal and conditions are right for planting most annuals and vegetables.
Containers are all set for this summer’s pots of cherry tomatoes, green peppers and a herbal favourite, basil. Also, looking forward to a new supply of red geraniums, like this one from last year. They are so beautiful to see each day on the deck!
The barbecue is all set for the weekend and weather promises to be great. That will ensure ideal conditions for the fireworks displays, as well.
Might just enjoy the weather with a great read and some cool refreshments.
Best all if you are celebrating a long weekend; if not, have a great summery weekend, nevertheless.
