POETS AND BLOGGERS–WORDS AND THANKS!

Fall is fast approaching!

2012 MAPLE TREE SHADOW!

The shadows on our lawn are a tell-tale sign of the changing season.

Meanwhile, it has been a busy week of words and wishes. Poems are submitted,

some published, some rejected.

Received my copies of Beyond the Dark Room. It truly is an honour to be part of such a thoughtful anthology.

I have met so many poets and poet-fans through various sites and blogs. It has been a great network! It all started a few years ago when I discovered the prompts at Poetic Asides. Since then, I have found many poetic kindred spirits at Poetic Bloomings and several other sites. Check out these links for some good reads.

Thanks again to all blog readers here. It is so wonderful to receive comments and exchange words!

Have a great week!

    1. Hannah,,thanks!
I, too, am so glad we met through these networks. All the many voices have been so wonderful to meet and share poems along the way! Take care, Hannah, in this difficult week of loss.
      Smiles from here to there!

    2. I appreciate the latter sentiment, Patricia, I just had to explain verbally to husband what I truly don’t even know how to put into words about how I’ve been feeling off due to this loss. Any way. Men definitely are from a different planet. It seems… So tiring…sorry had you here and on the same topic at just the right moment to vent.
      Thank you for your voice.

    3. You are welcome, Hannah.
I think that whole books have been written about the Mars and Venus stuff–meant for you to chuckle!
      Poetically aside,
One thing about poetry is that it gives you a whole universe of words to play with and process life.
Sometimes it works immediately; other times, it takes years.
Meanwhile, no problem to vent–we all need that space sometimes. Best to our Maine poet!

    1. Patricia –
I’ve been writing as long as I can remember. I’m only in high school though, so it hasn’t been a very long time. 🙂 But I really appreciate any feedback that I get on my poetry and when someone tells me that it’s good – oh my goodness. It makes me SO happy,
      Thanks again –
      Maggie
