This has been a winter to remember!
Great for winter sports of all sorts. Congrats to all the Olympic athletes who achieved so much!
Also, it has offered some beautiful landscapes for the eye and camera.
I took this photo of the shadows earlier today. They inspired a poem that I titled Winter Blueprint, now posted at Rhymes and Times Remembered, a blog hosted by Canadian author, Audrey Austin.
Have a great weekend All! š
This is such a positive post! š I am having a hard time being positive this winter, but. . .i talked to a friend yesterday who was like: “At least the bugs all died with the hard freeze. And the pollen will be better in the spring.” Of course, she lives in South Carolina!

Thanks, Margo! I was, indeed, trying to put a positive spin on winter. Even in Ontario, it has been a long time since the winter has been so harsh. I visited South Carolina many years ago, in March. The azaleas were in bloom. Then we returned to winter in Ontario. Here’s to a short few weeks of winter!
