July seems to be the best time to enjoy the summer season.

It certainly has been great weather for the bbq, travel to various locations or just enjoying a staycation.
Staying at home works, often-times, with a slower pace of life for those few days. Beautiful sunsets abound!
Certainly, it gives a chance to get caught up on some reading, catch a movie or two.
In the book category, I recommend One Perfect Day, a novel by Lauraine Snelling. Admittedly, I was drawn to the wintry book cover filled with a single red and white figure amidst a forest of birch trees, my favourite. From the first page, I was drawn into the everyday lives of two families, their interactions and challenges. No spoilers here but Snelling, skillfully, weaves her fictional story that parallels real-life choices that face many families.
Movies will work for a rainy day. Live theatre performances are plentiful as well.
Wherever you go this summer, enjoy!
