To all patient readers who are still following my blog, I wish you a belated happy Poetry Month. For those of you who have not heard about this celebration, April is designated as National Poetry Month in various countries, including Canada and the United States. Usually, I am busy posting poems and responding with comments to the works of other poets. However, this year has proven to be an exception to customary practice, possibly due to the severe winter and late spring, not quite sure about that causation. 🙂 Today, I was pleasantly surprised to see some petite yellow blooms, shining like lights in the perennial garden wasteland of last year. I took a few photos of these little gems so I thought that I would share one here along with a haiku that I wrote in response to the sighting of renewal. Truly, Spring has arrived! Best to all in this special month!
