In response to The Daily Post's weekly photo challenge: "Half and Half."This week's challenge brought to mind some photos that I had taken at Lake Huron in a much colder season.Last year, on a very cold spring day, the ice collected along the horizon. A seasonal divider reminded us of the freezing temperatures and blizzards of previous months. This image and memory of that cold day, made a hot July afternoon seem more bearable! :)
I have to admit that Geometry was not my favourite subject in high school — understatement!
However, since those hours of incomprehensible homework, I have to realize and admire the work of angular turns in life and my surroundings.
Some of these angular dips and dives have included major life events, some planned, some not so much — losses of loved ones, job changes, relocations.
Photos that I have taken and a few poems that I have written have captured some of the angular beauties of nature, as well, so I thought that I would share such a photo in this post. This was taken along the shores of Lake Huron, one of the Great Lake treasures shared with our neighbours.
Have a great weekend! 🙂
