AUGUST PERENNIAL DELIGHTS!

Gardening is a favourite past-time for so many and it seems that perennials are popular in much of this community.

Perennial gardens are an ongoing marvel!

As the summer weeks roll by, each flower blooms, in turn.

Some bloom more than once with the colour landscape                                                                                                                                  changing each day–red, yellow, white, purple and many variations.

SUMMER RAIN, JULY CLOUDS!

‘Tis a misty summer’s day here in the city.

2013 JULY CLOUDS

That soft rain of summer appeals to me, seems to quench the thirst of gardens and lawns, painting a brighter landscape, if you will.

Sometimes the weather conditions inspire a poem or two. Thought I would share this haiku that I wrote this morning, along with a cloud photo.

This cloud photo was taken a day or two ago, from the deck, my favourite writing location.

Have a good one!
